Hilink’s 40G QSFP+ cable breaks out into 8x multimode LC connectors, grouped into four duplex pairs which simply plug into any 10G multimode (850nm) SFP+ module. The cables are suitable for very short distances and offer a very cost-effective way to establish a 40-gigabit link within racks and across adjacent racks.
